Antonio Egea Sánchez, Financial and Real Estate Advisor, took first hand the negotiations in the sale and acquisition of the Hotel Siete Coronas. Being a young reputable Murcian businessman, he embarked on this project together with his father, Antonio Egea Sánchez, of whom we can at least say that he has extensive knowledge of the sector and the confidence of many businessmen, as well as great professionalism. Both have carried out various large-scale operations and have made a dent in the sector, with the utmost respect and credibility. Hence, many prominent businessmen in the region and nationally, have them for operations of high commitment and demand in complex procedures.
The emblematic hotel Silken Siete Coronas, opened its doors in 1971. It has been a benchmark in Murcia both for its accommodation and for its events. This charming hotel with 156 rooms and 4 stars was renovated after its change of owner in 2014.
In 2014, the hotel with more tradition of Murcia, went through several years with economic difficulties. Its owner silken hotel chain, its director Alfredo Lopez, closed its restaurant, maintained cafeteria and banquets. He fell into an employment regulation file suspending some contracts of some of his employees.
Then voices of sale began to be heard. Everything pointed to Juan García Lax, settled in Germany, but of Murciaian origin. Owner of a major fruit and vegetable distributor
Finally, the businessmen, respected entrepreneurs and professionals from Murcia, Juan García Lax and Juan Lax Muñoz, well-known catering businessmen, informed about the purchase and the structural reform project that the hotel would have, when it was acquired by Garunter S.L. The new director of the same one would be Pilar Durá, expert in management of great events.
